I've been creating some things for my classroom again {finally}. It's been a long......slow............winter. It just bogs me down. Does it do that to any of you?
Here are a few things that I've made for my classroom:
We worked hard the week before spring break on Customary Measurement. When we return we will be working on the Metric System.

At home, I finally sewed some curtains for the kitchen. It has been painted since October and I finally finished:

I knew I needed something for my bulletin board that was generic enough to get us through testing week in May and I thought flowers were perfect. I couldn't find what I wanted on TpT, so I made my own :) I'm going to post them later this week!
DeleteLove the curtains! We have a similary window set up in our breakfast area and I've been trying to figure out what I want to do there. This would be perfect!

DeleteWe have a similar window where our table is too...I'd say that I should make some curtains, but that could end tragically- I should totally just hire you!! ;O) (because apparently you have too much time on your hands!!) just kidding!

My students wrote about measurement (since that is what we are learning right now) and I put a title on the board about it. I'm going to be posting about that soon.....stay tuned :)

ReplyDeleteI LOVE your measurement lapbook! The curtains look awesome. It makes me wish I had learned to sew. I'll admit I used hot glue to hang the curtains in my classroom and make a hem on them. Sad, I know.
