I have been meaning to link up FOR.EV.ER. But, I just forget to take pictures. I'm terrible that way. I usually depend on either my dad or my friend, Beth, for most of my pictures (as they do a much better job than I ever could).
Anyway, this is what I was able to capture on my iPhone (see, I told you).
First up....my kids. They may be *almost* grown, but they can still tear it up looking for Easter eggs (especially when the eggs are full of money).
The next day, my husband warned me that he had taken our knives to be sharpened. He said, "Be careful, these are very sharp."
Apparently, I didn't listen {again}.
On Wednesday, we had our monthly half-day PD. Complete with learning objectives and everything....notice:
By the way, fourth grade totally won.
I spent the majority of the week anticipating observations. About half-way through the week, I realized, "GASP... I need something new on my bulletin board!" So....I whipped these up pretty quickly. I will show you more about it later:
And, last but not least....It's finally Spring Break, baby!
But, what do I wake up to??
What?
Poo.
Head on over to Doodle Bugs and link on up.
I hope you are doing better E!! I can't believe you are sick on your vacation! I loved seeing your pictures and am looking forward to learning more about that gorgeous bulletin board :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't linked up with this one yet, either, because my camera is broken and I have an old phone. Really puts a damper on things! LOL. I hope you're feeling better and enjoying spring break!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon so you can enjoy your Spring Break. I like the idea of eggs with money in them - my kiddos are just about at the age where we will need to change things up - thanks!

Adventures of a Third Grade Teacher
Yay fourth grade! Hope you feel better soon! We have an annual Easter Egg Hunt on my cul-de-sac. So many of our little ones are big middle schoolers now, so last year we started a glow in the dark hunt. They use flashlights and glowsticks to find the eggs. So much fun for all ages!

Hey BlogPal:
ReplyDeleteI had that same ailment--fortunately the fever was gone in 24 hours.
I love that I am not the only one posting Five for Friday on a SATURDAY! At least I am in GREAT company if you are there with me!
Enjoy your break... sadly, mine is living out its last few hours...
Get well and delight in your time away...

Collaboration Cuties
PS- my kids are totally gonna look like yours at an egg hunt in a few years, but add another boy to that picture. I'm afraid my 2 boys will take out their sister, even if she IS older. She's gonna have to learn to hold her own! ;O)
I am so glad to hear I am not the only one who constantly cuts themselves on cutlery ;) My husband thinks I need to use the same utensils as my 2 yr old :)

Same thing happened to me this Spring Break - I got a semi-taste of relaxation only to be attacked by a HORRIBLE flu virus by 2pm on Monday (day one of vacation!!) I had the chills, was running a fever and other horrible details I won't share as it would be TMI.
ReplyDelete:) get well soon

Aww hope you feel better and look out for those sharp knives!! I am sure your kids loved the Easter egg hunt. My aunt and mother still do an Easter Egg hunt for us older cousins(and when I say older all of us are over the age of 22) We are very competitive and look forward to it every year :) Enjoy your break!
