I've been busy working, and working, and working some more on something **BIG** for my classroom. I'm about a fourth of the way through and want to be finished before the end of July. I tell you this because it's an excuse for only one Monday Made It this week.
(I know...excuses, excuses.)
But, the ONE thing that I am sharing today is something I hope you will like. I received a lot of nice comments and messages about the Copy/Grade/File box from a few weeks ago:
If you'd like this file, you can get it {here}.
Last year, I made the Teacher Toolbox and it's one of the things that I made that I use the most. Here is a picture of the one I made last year (and if you click on the picture, you will be taken to the blog post from last year explaining how I put it together and how you can also use the editable template that I made last year):
There you have it...one little project for the week. But, one that I know I will be using like crazy this year. So, I'm happy. This one will be kept behind my desk and will be for my use only. (Which is why there is a label titled "beauty" for my lipstick, Burts Bees chapstick and eh-hem...dental floss.)
Happy Monday Made It Blog Hop time ;)
I love your teacher toolbox! Thanks for sharing!

Super cute! If I made one of these, I might not need the top curtain on that TV cart. HOWEVER, I would still need the bottom one! ;)

I've been dying to make one of these! I have a mountain of scrapbook paper but I just couldn't seem to summon up the gumption to put it together. These colors are perfect for my room and totally my style. I just downloaded both of these. Thank you for making my little crafty teacher heart happy this morning!!

Your toolbox is so cute. You have me very intrigued by what this big new project is?!?!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's not crafty....it's math curriculum related. Stay tuned :)
DeleteYour toolbox looks amazing! Love the colour combination! You are inspiring me to search for my own toolbox. I think I am going to need to do some "googling" and locate the nearest store around me. Thanks for sharing the labels. I love them.

You crack me up, Tara :)
DeleteIs your toolbox white? Did you get it @ Lowe's? I'm super excited to make one of these and to de-clutterize my desk. Right now I have ceramic cups for pens, markers, pencils, etc. I can't stand all the "stuff". Super cute!

Rockin' and Lovin' Learnin'
I should have said that I spray painted it first...sorry! It was the same one I bought last year from Lowes. It was blue originally. I'm ditching my ceramic cups this year! I can't wait to de-clutter the top of my computer table.
DeleteLove the update! You are inspiring me to finally make the teacher tool box purchase. Now that I see yours, I just don't think I'll be satisfied with my desk until I do :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!

I snagged your copy/file/grade freebie, but I haven't made it yet because I can't get in my room yet. Now I will have to go shopping for the tool box because these cuties are a must for me!!! Where did you get your tool box? I know there are a couple of different stores and brands that people are using and I want to get the one that fits your labels. :-)

That is hilarious that you keep dental floss at school! My dentist tells me that I need to floss more, so maybe I should keep some at work! :) I have been wanting to make one of these toolboxes for a year now and you have made TWO! I love your new one the best!! :) What are you going to do with your old one??

ReplyDeleteTurned out great! I did one last year, but mine held up pretty good though.
