  4. We will be celebrating my son's birthday with a barbecue and family fun. Can't wait- do it every year (33 now) and I love every minute of the family time. Next year we will have our first grand baby with all of us too!

  9. I'm looking forward to spending my 4th of July with my wonderful kiddos, my awesome nephew, and many family members and friends. We have an annual block party and it's always terrific. Great food, conversation, and, of course, fireworks! It's going to be extra special this year because my sweet 6 year old cousin (who is currently fighting for his life from cancer) will be able to celebrate with us.

  12. For the 4th of July, my hubby and I will be heading downtown in Fort Worth, TX! We will be watching live music out on the Trinity River and of course enjoying this years fire works! There will be tons of activities to do like tubing, horseback riding, canoeing, etc. so hopefully we will get to experience so great things!Side note: I really hope I win! That would make it even better! 🙂

  13. Every year since I was little we spend the fourth in Sleepy Hollow Il. There is a bicycle parade, small party in the park with fun fair games, local swimming at the pool and finally fireworks. If been celebrating this holiday for 40 years now and I'm glad I can share it with my five children!

  18. Happy 4th of July!We usually head to our local pool for the family fun night: barbque, bouncy house, simming of course, and at 10 pm the city fireworks go up right in front.We are talking about going to Chimpanzee at Mcmennamins too.:) Kelly

  20. I would love a quiet pencil sharpener as well! I just finished my first year of teaching and this would be a great little thing to add to my room. This year the pencil sharpener I had was awful and it was stressful for the kids and I to deal with everyday. This 4th of July I was planning on going out on the river but I did go to a friends party and then my boyfriend was really sick so I came home and hung out with my parents. I was exhausted so it worked out okay. Plus, there were TONS of fireworks in the neighborhood. 🙂
