  1. We have a tradition of getting milkshakes. We've been doing it for about 6 years. My 5 year old is already asking about it.

  5. I would love a quiet pencil sharpener! I'll be a first year teacher and I'm really worried that I'll forget to get basic supplies (like a pencil sharpener!) so I'd love to win this one!Lizlanghoff.elizabeth@gmail.com

  6. I would love a quiet pencil sharpener as well! I just finished my first year of teaching and this would be a great little thing to add to my room. This year the pencil sharpener I had was awful and it was stressful for the kids and I to deal with everyday. This 4th of July I was planning on going out on the river but I did go to a friends party and then my boyfriend was really sick so I came home and hung out with my parents. I was exhausted so it worked out okay. Plus, there were TONS of fireworks in the neighborhood. 🙂

  7. This pencil sharpener seems so neat!I watched fire works on the 4th and had a family bbq! It was a blast!smileykate52@hotmail.com

  8. I just found your blog this morning … so, what did I do for the fourth? BBQ get together with long time friends that has become an annual tradition for us. We've known each other since our oldest children were in kindergarten and now one of them (my daughter) is married and made us grandparents and the other (their daughter) is a Peace Corps volunteer in Thailand. It was pretty low key, but lots of fun! I don't have a blog … but I'm thinking about creating one. I guess I need some guidance. Who would want to read what I have to say? lolKim

  9. I'm new to blogging and I love your blog! I think I'm rapidly getting addicted to this! For the 4th of July I got together with friends had good old hot dogs with all the fixins. Watched fireworks as well as participated in lighting quite a few. Fun Times!

  10. I would love to try this pencil sharpener!! The one they bought me that is electric just doesn't work that great. As for the 4th I spent it in Canada looking in dollar stores for more school things. Crazy!!! :)Thank you for the giveaway!aaparsons@hotmail.comAndrea

  11. Hey, Elizabeth! I didn't find your giveaway til after the 4th so here's what we did. With the temps at 103 and the heat index of who knows what, we stayed in and relaxed at home. Drought conditions big time so no fireworks–Macy's spectacular on TV had to be it for this year!Pattipattib203@yahoo.comPrimary Pizzazz
