Monday Made It {August 12th}
Tomorrow is my last day of vacation. I return to school officially on Tuesday! But, guess where I will probably spend Monday?
Now to my Made Its this week.
I’ve been crafting away trying to catch up on some projects that have been sitting around. First up, I finally made Brain Breaks from Stephanie @ 3rd Grade Thoughts. I used them last year, but finally took the time to make them look as pretty as they deserve to be. I used Expressions Tape on craft sticks! Easy!
Would you like the label for the jar? Head {here} to download for free! I encourage you to check out Stephanie’s Brain Breaks {here} because they are awesome! How often (especially at the beginning of the year) do we need to take a quick little break?
Next, I am in the process of completing my Super Improver Wall for my three classes! This is not a clip chart. It is a chart where students move up the “ladder” when they earn a certain number of fuzzies. (Read more about fuzzies here and here.) I’m hoping the visual will be a great reminder to students. The Super Improver Wall is another Whole Brain strategy that I am going to try this year. Read more about WBT {here}.
Finally, I made some numbers for my paper “turn in” pocket chart. Here’s the pocket chart from last year:
