Havent taught too long but this would definitely be a really great gift to win 🙂
Every student brought me a card thanking me and a parent brought bagels, hot chocolate and flowers.
I received a special, homemade gift each day of the week from a student. It was so sweet and thoughtful of him and his family.
Framed picture of one of my kiddos. I still have it on the piano. 🙂 Thank you so much for putting this together. Happy teacher appreciation week to you, as well!
So far it's several giftcards to Starbucks!
A sweet card created by 3 sisters – I had all 3! 🙂
The one thing I cannot forget are the sweet words from a child a few years ago. She said she wished I was her Mom. That was the biggest compliment ever.
A grandmother of three boys. I have had all three now and she always brings in fresh flowers. She is very sweet. I also received a pedicure one year. 🙂
A cute bag with my name on it filled with teacher supplies and an apple!
Aww this basket is CUTE.My class put their thumbprints on a vase for me – loved it <3Anisa @ Creative Undertakings
I love anything that comes from my students themselves. I have little trinkets that they've bought me with their own money or letters they've written just for me. So special!
I have never really received any from my students or their families. I teach inner city and they are just struggling to get by to tell you the truth, but I have had many students and their parents return and thank me for all I have done for their children and that means more to me than any gift! = )
I have a school house that I can use and a candy dish that I got from a student when I taught in Louisiana. He was in my school due to Hurricane Katrina and that his dad was in the Army. I taught at Ft. Polk at the time. Sure miss him!
Awesome!
Awesome!
A bag with all of my students handprints and signatures on it! So cute and sweet!
I received a very beautiful and thoughtful bracelet!
This year and last year, our PTO has provided a breakfast to us once a month. It is definitely the best appreciation gift I've received.
I have received a beautiful blouse, glass blown pieces, and a monogrammed towel from a few of my students. They are things that I will never forget, and they made me feel very special.
You guys are awesome!
The pictures, hugs and smiles I get most everyday.
A junior high student bought me perfume when I was his student teacher. Said I was the only one who cared for him.
One year a student gave me a baggie of four quarters. It was so sweet!!
I would love to win this! I teach 4th grade!
I got a purple toy light saber from one of my first grade girls to use as a pointer in class during calendar time.
Gift cards are always amazing!
Chocolate is always welcomed, but the best are the sweet notes from the kids and their parents.
Notes from my students!
My favorite gift has to be a card I got from a family (I had all 3 of their kiddos over the years) telling me what an impact I had on their children and how much their family loved and appreciated me. I still have the card!!
The best gift for me was a scrapbook a parent put together of moments throughout the year and notes my students wrote for me.
A hand written note from a parent!Emily
A Ruby Tuesday gift card and flowers.
The year I graduated with my masters degree, my room mom took a picture of me in my robe and all my students. Then she had students sign the matting. She had it professionalyl framed. I just loved the thoughtfulness of making my graduation special to me and showing my students the importance of higher education.
My first year teaching I received a picture collage of my students holding up chalkboards of things they liked about 4th grade! It was the best!
This is my first year teaching so I have yet to receive the gift I'll never forget!! 🙂
It was a year after I had had the student in third grade. She brought me a house that she had made out of clay and glazed. It still sits on my desk and I think of that quirky kid every time I look at it.
The lovely notes and cards
It's my first year teaching so I will appreciate any gifts 🙂
Sharpies with my name on them!
What a generous give-away! I once received a handwritten note from a middle school student that I had worked with since 2nd grade. It was a birthday wish and a thank you. Awesome to be remembered!
I received a gift card to Paula Deen's Restaurant in Savannah. My room mother called my MOM! and asked her what I loved! All the parents contributed and it was awesome!
Sweet, heartfelt notes from my students are always my favorite appreciation gift. Starbucks gift cards never hurt either!
My greatest gift happened today. A former 3rd grader, who is now in 5th grade, shared a Google Doc with me entitled “How Much I Appreciate You”. She detailed in the letter how thankful she is that I was her teacher. It brought tears to my eyes because this is the time of year when I think about whether or not I made the right decision on a profession. Now I know.
This looks wonderful. Thanks
A handwritten note from a student thanking me for being the best teacher ever even though I was a “little strict.”
I don't get many “gifts”, but today we got a 10.00 gift card for a grocery store from our PTO. That was very nice!
Sadly as a high school teacher I don't get many appreciation gifts, but I would say the can coozies from the school several years ago were fun 🙂
What a great gift basket! Thanks!
I've only received gifts from my school. Lunch, bagels, and I also won a gift card to Panera. 🙂
A coffee cup personalized!
