I teach 4th this year will be looping to 5th next year (first time teaching 5th). What a great package.
I don't receive much, but I had a student bring a half bottle of perfume because it was her mom's favorite. I returned it to mom, but it was the thought counted!
A Jordan Bookbag and a Jordan Dream Team T-shirt. My last name is Jordan and the kid knew I was a huge fan of Michael Jordan. She really went all out to make me happy!
One year a parent organized an art project without my knowing which had pieces and writing from each of my students.
One year…a parent of mine scrapbooked different quotes from my students about me. I still have it and it's one of my prized possessions as a teacher! 🙂
I work at an inner city, low income school, so I don't get many gifts. However, one year I received a framed class picture from one of our fieldtrips. That was really meaningful!Fancy Free in Fourth
A bottle of wine and a gift certificate for a massage!
My favorite gifts are from students. They always try to give you gifts and they are always the best! Once a student gave me a used Cardinals duffle bag. He knew how much I love the Cardinals. The bag was dirty and very worn, but he is a student who usually comes to school wearing the same outfit. I knew he gave me something meaningful to him and it meant the world to me!
A letter I received from a former student.
I'd love to have this! I just about am finished with my first year of teaching. <3
My favorite are the little cards/notes that the students make me. 🙂
I received a S made out of crayons. I love it and I love telling my classes about my 1st class.
Love the great giveaway! My favorite gifts are the letters my students send me.
At a Muffins for Moms celebration, one of my students very sneakily had all the students sign a Mother's Day card for me that she made. She said since my mom couldn't be there like their moms, she wanted me to feel special. Talk about a tear jerker!!!! It happened to be during TA week also!
I have a handmade book from my first class at the school where I teach now. I LOVED those kids and that class. It was the best year. They are all getting ready to graduate high school soon. Aahh!
I have an owl themed classroom and have had several students draw me pictures of owls!
The handmade letters students make!

I love when I get handwritten notes from my students.
Thanks so much! I love when my students draw me things or send me pictures from their phones of things that they love (I teach 5th but moving to 4th next year!)
I would love this! I teach 3rd grade in NC 🙂 The best Teacher Appreciation Gift I have ever received from my students has to be a photo album filled with the students thumbprints made to look like animals. The students also wrote something they loved about me. This was during my internship and it was a great way to start my career!

This will be my first Teacher Appreciation week as a teacher, so my best gift is yet to come!
I received a glass apple from a student engraved with an inscription saying that I changed her life. It reminds me everyday how important my job is.
A huge poster sized card from a student listing specific examples how I helped her grow during the year.
A beautiful Willow Tree figure of a child with their instrument from a former band student.
My best Teacher Appreciation gift was a cookbook with special recipe from each family.
I had a student make my a card-made of candy! The candy took the place of some of the words in the message-it was awesome!:) KaitlynSmiles and Sunshine
Earrings that matched our school colors, and after I put them on, the student informed me she “had only worn them once!”
My most memorable gift was a beach bag with a towel and puzzle book.Perfect for summer in Florida. The bag is perfect to carry supplies to and from school as well.
A surprise party on teacher appreciation day by a sweet girl. The same young lady does her student teaching in our building this fall. I was inspiration to go into education.
One of my students wrote a short chapter book about everything she remembered about me being her teacher. I treasure that book so much!
Haven't had one yet so I don't know. This is my first year teaching!
I love checking out everyone's basket for this giveaway. We clearly all love our school supplies and can never have enough! 😉
Three years ago, my grandson was born four months premature, weighing in at 1 pound 15 ounces. He spent the first six months of his life in neonatal care. My kiddos were so wonderful. They made beautiful cards and artwork to decorate his incubator. One lovely young lady even hand knitted booties and a hat for him. He finally fit into them when he was about a year old!
Best gift was a trophy with an engraved thankyou on it!
One of my most challenging parents (yes, parents!) surprised me with a cake and balloons for my birthday. Her son spent all day making sure I was having the best birthday ever. It was extremely thoughtful for both of them to go out of their ways to show me that they really did appreciate me.
last year I received a bound book with hand written notes from all 65 of my 5th graders! A parent had taken the time to contact all of the families and put it together. I love it 🙂
a scarf knit by a student 😀
Several years ago the then principal arranged for us to receive chair massages.
A simple note of thanks is more precious than gold!

The door decorated with students' notes of appreciation.
Teacher Appreciation week isn't celebrated in my neck of the woods…must find a way to make it happen!
I haven't had many teacher appreciation weeks, but so far my favorite gift has got to be the bound book of notes I got when I was student teaching. I keep it on my desk at home. 🙂
The clipboard I received from my student teaching class. It has my name on it and I still use it to this day (17 years later).chief9937@Yahoo.com
My favorite “gift” is actually a hand written note of appreciation.
I enjoy receiving notes of thank you and appreciation. Means a lot when people take the time to do that. =)
My class gave me a baby shower for my 1st born!
One year a little girl gave me the sweetest card that said I was the best teacher ever and had a drawing of me as a puppy 🙂
